Language Missions Collection, 1950-1989.

The collection includes articles, bulletins, correspondence, pamphlets, pictures, and subject files. There are three series arranged chronologically based on the tenure of each director: Loyd Corder (1950-1965), Gerald B. Palmer (1966-1970), and Oscar I. Romo (1971-1989). The majority of the correspondence is part of the Loyd Corder series and includes Baptist leaders such as: Noble Y. Beall, S. F. Dowis, Joshua Grijalva, and Albert McClellan. Records from Gerald B. Palmer include writings about language missions and broader mission programs. In the Oscar I. Romo series, there are many histories about mission efforts among American ethnic groups.
